The Giclee (zhee-klay) print has emerged in the art market as a method to create very high quality, limited edition reproductions of original artwork.  A Giclees are found in collections of leading museums and galleries and can be quite valuable.  Elizabeth Greaf has had Giclees made in very limited numbers of the following watercolor paintings. The limited edition reproductions are available through the studio. digital scan is made of the original work of art and after various proofs, etc. it is reproduced using high quality, pigment based inks onto art papers (such as watercolor paper), canvas, etc.  They can be very difficult to distinguish from the original and require the same type of framing and protection as the original would.
