Workshop on Block Island

No Workshop is scheduled on Block Island in 2008.   The following is an example of workshop content and logistics from former years.  Please contact me if you want to be on the mailing list for the next session.

Transportation:

There are frequent ferries from New London, CT to Block Island.  Ms. Greaf plans to take an early ferry from Orient Point on Long Island and then transfer in New London, CT to the ferry to Block Island.  Parking is available at both locations.  There are also ferries from Pt. Judith, RI to Block Island.  The direct ferry from Montauk is not operating at this time. Participants will be responsible for all travel related expenses such as ferry, food, lodging, and local transportation.  Depending on the date, the Viking Ferry from Montauk directly to Block Island may be operating.

Lodging:

There are many lovely places to stay on Block Island.   Block Island Accommodations will take you to one of the best websites to find your lodging.

Paintings shown are all Watercolors created by Ms. Greaf from former painting and workshop trips to Block Island.
