Join Gallery North for a Day of Watercolor

in Manhattan 

Friday, April 15th

We will meet near the arch in Washington Square Park
at 10 a.m. 

Learn the basic concepts of watercolor painting as

Elizabeth Greaf creates a Demonstration Painting in the park
and discuss the materials and techniques that she is using.*

 

At 12:30: Have lunch in the park or join a friend in a local restaurant 

At 1:30 reconvene at the Salmagundi Club and

 

Enjoy the American Watercolor Society’s

143rd Annual International Exhibition

Elizabeth will lead you through the exhibit as you see outstanding watercolor paintings in large galleries on two floors of the Salmagundi Club.  She can help you understand special techniques used by these outstanding artists to create the paintings.  

The exhibit also includes work from other water based media such as gouache and acrylic.

 

After the tour, Elizabeth will remain available to discuss the show with you, perhaps over tea at a local restaurant. 

The Salmagundi Club is located at 47 Fifth Ave. between 11th and 12th St.

Elizabeth Greaf has been painting professionally in watercolor for over 20 years. 
Her watercolors are in collections across the country, particularly on the
 East and West Coasts where she has had multiple gallery representation. 

She is also a well known Long Island teacher of watercolor.
